Nikhil Behari

I am a Research Fellow at the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in the Center for Research on Computation and Society advised by Prof. Milind Tambe, and a Research Affiliate at the MIT Media Lab in the Camera Culture Group led by Prof. Ramesh Raskar.

My research interests include 3D scene representation, reinforcement learning techniques, and optimization for decision-making under uncertainty, especially for human and planetary health. Currently, at Harvard, I am collaborating with researchers at Google Research and DeepMind on enhancing the generalizability of models for complex resource allocation problems. Previously, at the MIT Media Lab, I researched topics in automated imaging system design and scene representation using non-standard cues.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Statistics from Harvard College in 2022. I was previously an intern at the NASA Langley Research Center with Dr. Corey Ippolito, and at the CMU Future Interfaces Group with Prof. Chris Harrison. I also previously co-organized the KDD Workshop on Data-Drive Humanitarian Mapping. I am currently a Non-Resident Tutor for Harvard's Mather House.
